We read that they have changed their logo to the one below. That's okay. It's still really cool! My only complaint is that it isn't a red husky!
We really liked this quote in the article:
"The first Husky appeared on campus on March 4, 1927, having come to Boston's North Station from Alaska. 'King Husky' was greeted by more than 1,000 students and the University band. Classes had been canceled for the afternoon, and the dog was paraded by police escort for the four miles to campus."We are now expecting my Human to greet us in this manner each time she returns home.

I like the Northeastern and the University of Washington huskies. UConn also has a husky as their mascot, but he looks more like a malamute than a husky.
Most people probably don't know the difference, but we have discriminating eyes.
I was going to bring up the UConn husky's appearance. At least their heart was in the right place!

this is one of the universities where my mom grew up. smart school for choosing a huskie as the mascot (even though I'm fond of the eskie!)
Ender, I think the UConn mascot looks a lot more like you than it does a husky. Perhaps we can persuade them to change their teams to the UConn Eskies!
It is really hard to find logos, teddies or toys and stuff which have red huskies... We red huskies should do something about that!
We have a red husky stuffie that came from Disney after Snow Dogs came out.
I've found some red husky logos. I'll feature them in upcoming weeks.
