What Humans Do...
.
You ever wonder what your human does during the day?
I stuck a hidden camera on my Human and got this shot sent back to me today:
I think humans have stupid, boring lives away from us. No wonder when we destroy something they get so excited.

Fabric
.
Dave, my friend in Kansas who has authored many wonderful haik-woos, is also a guide dog for the color blind. He helps his mom select fabric for quilts.
He sent me a couple links to some fabric that celebrates the mascots of the University of Washington and University of Connecticut. I think they would make a wonderful quilt.
In closing, here's a photo of the top of my head:

Fleas are Very Stupid!!!
.
Someone brought fleas into our house. I suspect that Lex picked them up from that stupid no-possum he found. Meepie had a bunch of them. (Meeps said that they liked him 'cause he's so sweet!.) I had the least amount of them. We all had to have baths. Then my Human cleaned the carpet with some stuff.
I don't hate baths as much as some of the others do. But of course I agree that baths are stupid.
In other news, my Human brought home some crickets for Griselda Gecko. I don't think that the lizard or the crickets have fleas, though.

5000th Visitor!
At some point while my stupid phone company was having their problems, the 5000th visitor to my blog passed by. I can't be 100% sure who was the lucky visitor, but it was either Charlie the Big Dog or Opy the Original Gruff Puppy. So you are both invited to come dig holes in our yard! And chase the birds around when they come inside!

Charlie sent me a picture of some tape to feature. Ta da!!!!
This is what the website says about them:
I'd much prefer buying Husky Tape to Duck Tape!

Yelling!
So I was yelling at Lex today. You probably know by know that it was because he was being stupid. My Human (who I think is stupid) decided to take a couple pictures of me before tossing me in my box. What's up with that????
It's 74 degrees Fahrenheit today. The stupid public school system decided early this morning to end the day about half way through because it was "too hot." I heard my Human discussing this (in the manner described as being that of a female canine) with her friend Large Oh. Now, my Human doesn't have any of those stupid hairless puppies, so she really shouldn't care one way or another about this. But she's all worked up over the school system. She'll probably blather on about this in her blog at some point. I heard my Human mention that this was a soap box issue for her. I hope so. I kind of like the taste of soap.

Phone!
The stupid phone company came and fixed our stupid problem! I think the cats had something to do with it. Or maybe that stupid bird that was in our house on Sunday.
Anyway...we're back online. I'll post more later.

Technical Difficulties
Because our phone company is stupid, we can't get on the internet easily. They promised the repair would be done within 24 hours...it's been 36 now! I'll update when I can. Right now, I can only connect at 2.4 kbs. High speed is not an option where we live...only dialup.

Birdie!
So we were just hanging out in the living room last night, watching TV and a bird flew in the house! It flew AROUND & AROUND & AROUND & AROUND...Then my Human turned the porch light on and the bird left.
We didn't get to eat it.
I apologize for not having photos of this event, but to make it up for it, here's a photo of me (you can pretend that I'm looking up at the bird):

Husky Logo #22
US HUSKIES! Now that is not very good grammar at all! But in reality this is the logo of the mascot of the University of Saskatchewan. My human went to the University of Manitoba, and that school had a stupid Bison as their mascot. She would have been much better off going to the U of S!

Large Oh (the friend of my Human) insists that HeadOn is really all it's cracked up to be...
Speaking of my Human, I think she's losing it!
Enough about the stupid humans, now on to important things...Pictures of us!

WOOOO!
We Sibes like so share our joy with others. Meepie is the best singer at our house. He likes singing a lot. Sometimes at night when the cows are mooing and the owls are hooting, Meepie will woo along.
Here's a picture of our friend Dave, the haik-woo author. Not only is he an author, but he's also the guidedog for the color blind as well as an accomplished sing-a-long leader:

I'm very pleased with Time Magazine's change in editorial policy on what they are covering. First it was Charlie the Big Dog, now it's me. I'll tell you later about the other 10 things, till then you'll have to buy the magazine.

We Didn't Start the Sinkhole
Look, we're miles to the north of Nixa, MO. I wish that those stupid finger pointing humans would quit pointing fingers at us!
And in other news, we heard a report on the radio about armadillos and how they are migrated to southern Missouri. The stupid radio announcer called them reptiles! Nevertheless, I would sincerely like to meet one!

5 Weird Things About Me
I was tagged by Indy.
The player of this game starts with "5 weird things/habits about yourself." Then you tag 5 friends and list their names. Those who get tagged need to write on their blogs about their 5 weird things/habits, as well as state this rule clearly, then tag 5 more victims. Don't forget to leave your victim a comment that says "you're tagged!" in their comments and tell them to read your blog.
5 Weird Things About Me
1. I don't like most treats. I'm okay with cereal and things that humans like, but I don't like dog treats! If someone gives me a dog treat, I won't eat it.
2. I don't like chewing on things. You can leave me unsupervised around anything and I won't destroy it.
3. I like to clean other dogs' ears.
4. I bark more than most Siberians. I still woo, but I bark. Especially when I'm yelling that Lex is stupid!
5. I like walking on the back of the couch. I have very good balance. From that point I'm taller than everyone else.
I tag D'azul, Ranger, Tara, Dakota, & Arwen.

Husky Logo #21
Today I'm featuring this logo:
It's the logo of the Husky Hitch company. They used to call them selves the Valley Hitch company. Or something like that.
Niki is especially fond of this logo!

Another Stupid Human Holiday
Hello!
We heard on the radio today that today is National Underwear Day. My Human is reminded of the motto of her high school Latin club: Semper Ubi Sub Ubi!
Some other things happened in history on this day...Nixon resigned...the United States exploded a nuclear bomb over Nagasaki, Japan...Jerry Garcia, lead singer and guitarist of the Grateful Dead, died...
But of course nothing is as important as National Underwear Day!
Oh, Roo Roo wants you to stop by her blog to see her latest accomplishment.

Venting
When I was just a little guy, we lived in a different house. And that house had floor vents. Our house now has a different heating and cooling system. There are no vents! I think that's really stupid. I'm demanding that my Human put floor vents in this house. I want to lie on something that blows cool air on me. I really don't think that's asking too much.

Stupid Mocking Cat!
There is a stupid cat that likes to sit outside and stare into my window. He watches what we do and mocks us.
I've mentioned that an animal rescue group keeps their cats that aren't in foster care out on our property. We don't see the cats very often, but some of the cats that are out here are feral and they have free roaming rights. So far they are smart enough not to come into our side of the property. Anyway, this stupid cat is one cat that really irritates me. HOW DARE HE STARE!!!!

Hiding
Sometimes we have to hide from things. Stupid storms require hiding. When my Human is on a photo taking rampage, we sometimes hide. Sometimes we hide from each other.
That stupid Lex likes to hide from me. He needs to stop that, because how else am I going to be able to tell him that he's stupid?! He's not very good at hiding, though. He likes to hide behind the couch.
We can sometimes hear and smell cats, but we seldom see them. I think they are hiding, too. (Apparently they do a better job of hiding than Lex does.)
