My Human has told a story a time or two about something that once happened with Lex at the dog park...
Once upon a time when there was just Lex and me, I took him for a walk at the dog park. When we got inside the dog park I noticed that there was about a dozen poodles running around. Lex didn't notice, however. He was too busy sniffing the ground. So all these poodles ran over to see what was so interesting. There were black poodles, white poodles, and apricot poodles in a circle around Lex. They were all Standard Poodles, but some of them were puppies. Lex finally looked up and noticed he was completely surrounded by curly coated dogs. He was pretty startled. The end.
Knowing Lex as I do, I have to assume that he started whining when he discovered he was surrounded by poodles. He whines a lot!

We just met a poodle ourselves & we have to say, it didn't do alot for us. Lot of whining!

They don't really look alike but maybe they are distant relatives. I bet they would have no fun at all just laying around and whining together.
I agree with M&M, I'm not a big fan of poodles. Very snobby.
