You know... we get that around here a lot, too. And the M-M pups are on to something. When my mom comes in to see what I'm doing - if I'm napping, she wakes me up with all this "GOOD BOY!" stuff. What's the deal?

Ya know....part of the reason that we sleep so much during the day (and night) is because those humans are always waking us up, good boy, let me get a picture of you sleeping, you are so cut when you sleep, yada, yada, yada! Seems to me if I remember right, they don't like it when WE wake THEM up!

Soon as you relax, they whip out the camera and flash, click, bother bother bother.
Hmmmph.

i think it is becuz peepol are such bad sleepers that they are jellus of dog naps and feel like they hafta wake us up.
my peepol are so bad at sleeping. they need a big soft bed, they need it all dark and totally quiet and then they wake themselves up with a noizy radio way too early. no wunder they are cranky and jellus of dog naps!

you speak mounds of truth, turbo. my mom uses this camera that makes this little stupid song noise everytime she turns it on. well of course, it wakes me up.
that's okay. i get my humans back by pacing in the middle of the night. and, i check on my mom almost every night about 4am. she pretends to sleep through it....but she knows i'm watching her.

Turbo, the humans are just jealous they don't look that cute and adorable while they are sleeping, and they certainly don't look as good as we do when they wake up. I mean, their fur is all messy, they stink, and have to douse themselves with water all sorts of smelly stuff. We on the other hand, look just as gorgous before, during, and after our naps, and we take LOTS of them. They only take one!
And Ender, you are SOOO right. Our dad gets pretty mad at us when we wake him up during the day when HE sleeps. Sam and Monty are the worst. They usually get the "bad boy" collars put on. They make this annoying high pitched beeping sound, as a way to "train" them not to bark. Seems we need to come up with some sort of anti-human-talking collar for them!

I know isn't it annoying. My mom and dad also like to play with my lips while I am sleeping. They think it's funny. I do not.
