I think it's because of humans and the whole money thing. They aren't happy unless they can complain about money...and paying other humans to dig stuff up is a good reason to complain!

We think you should picket the workers when they arrive. That would be a good campaign moment for Tubey, too: we want a presidential candidate who isn't afraid to take on species-ism in the world of labor.
